Los Angeles
Hello everyone,
I just returned from a very productive week in Los Angeles regarding all things Racing for Recovery. I can't let the cat out of the bag yet but I will say this, I am one step away from getting this program out national on a weekly basis to a massive audience. It is very humbling to be sitting in meetings with individuals who first and foremost believe in Racing for Recovery and secondly have the ability to get the message out via major media. I know this is my destiny and life's work and it is a blessing to have it all coming together. This is the message I have for everyone I encounter that "with sobriety anything is possible" I hope to have everything confirmed and make the official announcement by the end of March if not sooner.
I have received my usual amount of phone calls regarding individuals and their families suffering from addiction and my response to you all is do not give up HOPE as recovery is possible. There is one thing I know for sure and that is each side of this problem has to come to the conclusion that they want a better way of life for themselves and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that. I did whatever I needed to keep me drunk and high so I put that same effort into my recovery. This includes but is not limited to exercise, education, spirituality, family, friends and directing Racing for Recovery.
I leave tomorrow for Baltimore and Philladelphia and look forward to the meetings and individuals I will be meeting.
The Racing for Recovery mentoring program continues to improve lives on Long Island and I just want to say thank you to everyoe out there who is not only support the Long Island area but Racing for Recovery in general. We would not be where we are without all of you.
God Bless,
TC
